Called by the British Magazine Boards one of the top ten windsurfing beaches in the world, Cabarete has hosted five Professional Windsurfing Association World Cup and has an amateur windsurfing competition every June that attracts about 2,000 people.

You will find on the beach several windsurfing centers which will rent you equipment and offer instructions by experts. So whether you already are an expert or just want to have fun, Cabarete is the right place!

We also recommend another 18-holes golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, PLAYA DORADA Golf Club which is also an interesting golf course to play. (30 minutes west of Villa Leone).
